In March of 2022, producer Matt Podolsky began an attempt to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail alongside his mom, Candy. These mini-episodes were produced over the course of their six-month journey, and served as an accompaniment to a series of articles that Matt wrote about his AT adventure for The Trek.
